Every semester Temple Update, Temple’s student run news show, holds auditions for 10 highly sought after anchor positions. Last week 50 students tried out and today the list was finally posted. These past auditions were more competitive in years past considering Temple Update will now be shown on TUTV, Temple’s new television station, which can be found on Comcast channel 50 in the city! I’m pretty excited because I found out I’ll be anchoring the technology segment! Last semester I was the health anchor for Temple Update and while I enjoyed the job I’m glad I’ll be reporting on something I’m more passionate about this semester.
